Section 39 in Bombay Wild Animals and Wild Birds Protection Act, 1951
39. Possession of Government trophy to be reported. -
Any person who by any means obtains possession of a Government trophy shall within 48 hours make a report thereof to the nearest Game, Police or Forest Officer and shall, if so required, hand over the trophy to him.
