- On and from the date this Act comes into force in any local area or areas the enactments specified in Scheduled I and Schedule II so far as they are in force in the State of Orissa; shall be repealed to the extent mentioned in third column of Schedule I and be amended to the extent and in the manner mentioned in the third column of Schedule II.But this repeal shall not revive any office, authority or thing abolished by such enactment or affect the validity of anything which has been done or suffered or any right, obligation or liability which has accrued before the commencement of this Act.
