Section 156A in Bihar Board's Miscellaneous Rules, 1958

All permanent and temporary clerks in the Lower Division Scale of Rs. [1200-30-1800], in the District and Sub-Division Offices will be allowed to cross the first efficiency bar at [Rs. 770] [Now there is no E.B. in the Revised Pay Scales.] if they have passed the preliminary examination in accounts. Crossing of the second efficiency bar at [Rs. 145] [Now there is no E.B. in the Revised Pay Scales.] will be allowed by the Head of Office on the basis of satisfactory work of the concerned if he is found to be efficient.The ministerial officers in the Collector's and Commissioner's Offices will be allowed to cross the efficiency bar at the Upper Division or Selection Grade if their work is found to be satisfactory and they are considered to be efficient.]
