Section 3(1) in Sardar Patel University of Police, Security and Criminal Justice, Jodhpur Act, 2012
(1)The Chancellor, the first Vice-Chancellor, the first members of the Board of Management and the Academic Council of the University and all persons who may hereafter become such officers or members so long as they continue to hold such office or membership shall constitute a body corporate by the name of "the Sardar Patel University of Police, Security and Criminal Justice, Jodhpur" and shall have perpetual succession and a Common Seal and may by that name sue and be sued.
