Section 52(2)(j) in Inland Vessels Act, 1917

(j)regulate the navigation of inland [Mechanically Propelled Vessels] [Substituted by Act 35 of 1977, Section 5, for "steam-veseel" (w.e.f. 1.5.1978).] to prevent danger to other vessels, or to the banks, channels, navigation marks or any property, movable or immovable, in or abutting on navigable channels.
