208. Power to drain group or block of houses, etc., by a combined operation.
(1)If it appears to the Board at a meeting that a group or block of houses may be drained or improved more effectively, economically or advantageously in combination than separately and if a sewer, drain or other outlet already exists or is about to be constructed within one hundred feet of any part of such group or block of houses, the Board may cause such group or block of houses to be so drained and improved.and the expenses thereby incurred shall be recovered from the owners of such houses in such proportions as shall to the Board seem fit.(2)Not less than one month before any such work is commenced, the Board shall give to each owner-(a)a written notice of the nature of the proposed work;(b)an estimate of the expenses to be incurred in respect thereof and on the promotion of such expenses payable by him.Control in Respect of Public Health
