Ms. Rachna Sharma, Advocate for the respondent No. 2. By this petition, the petitioner seeks invocation of the provision of Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to quash the FIR registered as Crime No. 217/2014 at PS Maharajpura district Gwalior under Section 406 of IPC.

I.As. No. 7092/2014 and 7093/2014, applications for compromise have been verified by the Principal Registrar on 11.12.2014. A report has been submitted that the Principal Registrar satisfied that the parties have arrived at compromise voluntarily without any fear or force.

Keeping in view that there is no dispute left between the parties and the parties have arrived at into an amicable settlement, it will be futile exercise of the Court and waste of valuable time to continue the proceedings.

Following the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Shiji @ Pappu and others Vs. Radhika and another reported in (2012) 1 SCC (Cri) 101 and Gian Singh Vs. State of Punjab and another reported in (2013) 1 SCC (Cri) 160 and the complaint prevail in this case, allowing the petition under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., the FIR registered as Crime No. 217/2014 at PS Maharajpura district Gwalior under Section 406 of IPC and consequent criminal proceeding, if any, is quashed.

With the aforesaid, this petition is allowed.
