Section 51 in Tamil Nadu Private Schools (Regulation) Act, 2018
51. Cognizance of offences.
(1)No Court inferior to that of a Metropolitan Magistrate or a Judicial Magistrate shall take cognizance of any offence punishable under this Act.(2)No Court shall take cognizance of any offence punishable under this Act except on a report in writing of the fact constituting such offence made by an authority or officer authorized by the Government in this behalf.
