Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No. 386 dated 6.10.2013, under Section 406, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 ('IPC' for short), registered at Police Station Faridabad Kotwali (Annexure P-1) and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise dated 22.12.2013 (Annexure P-2) effected between the parties.

Vide order dated 1.7.2014, Trial Court was directed to record the statements of the parties and send its report with regard to genuineness of the compromise effected between the parties.

In pursuance to the said order, Trial Court after recording the statements of the parties has reported that the GURPREET SINGH 2014.09.09 10:28 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh Criminal Misc.-M No. 21522 of 2014 -2- matter has not been amicably settled between the parties.

In view of the report submitted by the Trial Court, learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that he may be permitted to withdraw the petition to enable the petitioners to seek quashing of the FIR on merits.

Dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid.
