25. [ Penalties. [Section 25 amended vide H.P. Act No. 15 of 2004 and substituted vide Act No. 27 of 2012.]
- Subject to the other provisions of this Act, whoever contravenes any of the provisions of this Act or the rules made thereunder and no penalty has been provided for such contravention in this Act, shall be liable, on conviction, to a fine which shall not be less than one thousand rupees but which may extend to five thousand rupees for the first offence, and not less than three thousand rupees but which may extend to eight thousand rupees for every subsequent offence.]
