Section 3(1) in The Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya Vishwavidhyalaya Adhiniyam, 1991
(1)There shall be established a University by the name of the [Mahatma Gandhi] [Substituted by M.P, Act No. 29 of 1995 (w.e.f. 22-9-1995).] [Chitrakoot] [Inserted by M.P. Act No. 15 of 1997.] Gramodaya Vishwavidhyalaya which shall consist of a Chancellor, a Vice-Chancellor, a Pro-Vice-Chancellor, a Board of Management, an Academic Council and other authorities and officers as provided in this Act or Statutes.
