Section 33(1) in The Orissa Municipal Corporation Act, 2003
(1)In any case in which it is provided in this Act or the rules or the regulations or the bye-laws made thereunder or in any other law for the time being in force that the Mayor shall take action subject to the approval, sanction, consent or concurrence of the Corporation, the Corporation may authorize the Mayor in writing to take action in anticipation of such approval, sanction, consent or concurrence, subject to such conditions, if any, as may be specified by the Corporation.
