54. Taking pledge from child under the age of fourteen
Whoever takes from any child, appearently under the age of fourteen years, any article whatsoever as a pawn, pledge or security for any sum of money lent or advanced to such child, or without the knowledge and consent of the owner of the article, buys from any child any article whatsoever, shall be liable, on summary conviction before a Magistrate, to a penalty not exceeding one hundred rupees.
