ORDER
1. The Appellant filed an RTI application dated 22.01.2023 seeking information on the following points:
1. महा ा गांधी अंतररा ीय िहंदी िव िव ालय म स : 2010-2022 तक कुल िकतने ोफेसर सेवािनवृ ए, नाम सिहत, िवभाग का नाम भी बताए। उसकी मािणत छाया ित दान कर।
2. िनयिमत ोफेसर सेवािनवृ होने के बाद उनके शोध-िनदशन म िकतने शोधािथयों को पी-एच.डी. उपािध दान की गई। उसकी मािणत छाया ित दान कर।Page 1 of 4
3. िनयिमत ोफेसर सेवािनवृ होने के बाद उनके शोध-िनदशन म शोधािथयों को िकस ावधान/िनयमावली के तहत पी-एच.डी. उपािध दान की गई। उसकी मािणत छाया ित दान कर।
4. िनयिमत ोफेसर सेवािनवृ होने के बाद उनके शोध-िनदशन म िकतने शोधािथयों के शोध-िनदशक बदले गए। उसकी मािणत छाया ित दान कर।

3. Dissatisfied with the response received from the CPIO, the Appellant filed a First Appeal dated 24.02.2023 alleging that the information provided was incomplete, false and misleading. The FAA vide order dated 21.03.2023 upheld the reply given by the CPIO.
4. Aggrieved with the FAA's order, the Appellant approached the Commission with the instant Second Appeal dated 02.06.2024.
5. The appellant remained absent during the hearing despite notice and on behalf of the respondent Dr. Balaji, Associate Professor, attended the hearing through video conference.
6. The respondent, while defending their case, reaffirmed their earlier response dated 22.02.2023 and submitted that point-wise all relevant available information had been furnished to the appellant.
7. The Commission after adverting to the facts and circumstances of the case, hearing the respondent and perusal of records, observes that the CPIO has provided an appropriate reply to the appellant vide letter dated 22.02.2023. Further, in the absence of the appellant to plead his case or contest the CPIO's submissions, the Commission finds no scope of intervention in the matter. With this observation, the appeal is disposed of.
Copy of the decision be provided free of cost to the parties.
