Section 4(2) in The Punjab Prevention of Beggary Rules, 1975
(2)Subject to the provisions of sub-rule (1) persons arrested under section 3 and belonging to different sexes shall not be kept together :Provided that nothing in this sub-rule apply to persons of one and the same family and to a child under [nine years] [Substituted for 'twelve years' Punjab Supplementary Part III, dated 13.4.1977.] of age.
