Section 9(1) in The Punjab Sugarcane (Regulation of Purchase and Supply) Rules, 1958
(1)The Cane Commissioner may cause a survey of the sugarcane in areas proposed to be assigned in Form V by the factory or the Society who shall deliver a copy thereof to the Cane Commissioner by the end of September each year. The official authorised by the Cane Commissioner to check survey of cane area, shall be afforded such assistance and facilities by the occupier of factory as may be necessary.
