Section 7 in Gujarat Panchayats (Amendment) Act, 1966
7. Amendment of section 100 of Guj. VI of 1962.- In section 100 of the principal Act, after sub-section (1), the following sub-section shall be inserted, namely:-
"(1a) Any surplus funds in the hands of a panchayat which may not be required for current charges may be invested in such manner as may be prescribed.".
