Section 9(1) in Orissa Electricity Regulatory Commission (Grievances Redressal Forum and Ombudsman) Regulations, 2004
(1)As soon as if may be practicable to do but not later than one week from the date of the receipt of representation, the Ombudsman shall serve a notice to the concerned officer of the Licensee named in the representation alongwith a copy of the representation and endeavour to promote a settlement of the complaint by mutual agreement between the consumer and the Licensee.
