(6)The Committee so appointed shall, within maximum eight weeks and in such manner as may be prescribed by the Statutes, select three persons whom it considers lit for being appointed as the Vice-Chancellor and shall recommend .to the State Government the names of the persons so selected together with such other particulars as may be prescribed by the Statutes.
