(1)This Act may be called the Goa [* * *] [Words 'Daman and Diu' omitted by the Amendment Act 15 of 2001 & further amended by Act No. 20 of 2006.] Entertainment Tax Act, 1964.(2)It extends to the whole of the [State of Goa] [Substituted in place of 'Union Territory of Goa, Daman and Diu' by the Amendment Act 15 of 2001.].(3)It shall come into force on the 1st day of April, 1964.
