Section 15 in The Probation of Offenders Act, 1958
15. Probation officers to be public servants
. - Every probation officer and every other officer appointed in pursuance of this Act shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code (45 of 1860).
