Section 327(1) in The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Act, 1981
(1)If any structure be deemed by the Commissioner to be in a ruinous state or dangerous to passers-by or to the occupiers of neighbouring structures, the Commissioner may, by notice, require the owner or occupier to fence off, take down, secure or repair such structure so as to prevent any danger thereform.
