Section 73 in The Assam Reorganisation (Meghalaya) Act, 1969
73. Power to remove difficulties.
(1)If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions of this Act, the President may, by order, do anything not inconsistent with such provisions which appears to him to be necessary or expedient for the purpose of removing the difficulty.(2)Every order made under this section shall be laid before both Houses of Parliament as soon as may be after it is made.
