Section 158(1) in The Delhi School Education Rules, 1973
(1)The head of the school may exempt deserving students, whose parents or guardians are not financially solvent to pay the fees specified by these rules, from payment of the whole or one-half of such fees for a period of twelve months commencing from the 1st day of May of each year or from the date of admission of the child or ward, whichever is later, and such exemption shall be regulated in the manner specified in sub-rule (3).
