ORDER
1. The grievance of the applicant is is against Respondent no. 7- Age of Englitenment who is the owner of the land in question as well as Respondent no. 8 i.e., M/s SVC Ventures and M/s Lahari Infra regarding cutting of trees in the entire 9 acre of land falling in Khasra no. 70, Killa no. 6, 7/2, 8/2, 9/1, 12/2, 12, 14, 15, 17/2, 18, 19/1 totaling 67 canals and 07 marlas ( 9 acres approx.) Vill. Sarai Khawja, Faridabad which is surrounded by Greenfield Colony, Sector 43, Faridabad for developing a plotted colony whereas the area in question is shown as "Gair Mumkin Pahar" in Jamabandis and is in fact a Forest Land.
2. The applicant has prayed for issuance of directions for taking action against the illegal felling of trees in the above mentioned land and 1 for necessary steps to restore the land to its previous form by planting the trees. It is further submitted that no construction activity should be allowed on the land in question.
3. We have heard the learned counsel for the applicant and gone through the record carefully. In view of the allegations made in the application, we direct the District Forest Officer, Faridabad, Haryana to look into the grievance of the applicant and take remedial action in accordance with law after following due process.
The application stands disposed of accordingly. A copy of this order, along with a copy of the complaint, be forwarded to the District Forest Officer, Faridabad, Haryana by e-mail for compliance.
