3. Reference standards
.-(1) Every reference standard weight shall conform, as regards denomination, material used in construction, and design to the specifications laid down in Part I of the First Schedule.(2)The maximum permissible error in respect of any reference standard weight, on verification or re-verification after adjustment shall be such as is specified in Part I of the First Schedule.(3)Every reference standard metre bar shall conform, as regards material used in construction, and design, to the specifications laid down in Part II of the First Schedule.(4)The maximum permissible error in respect of any reference standard metre bar, on verification or re-verification, shall be such as is specified in Part II of the First Schedule.
