Section 17(2)(b) in The Punjab Factory Rules, 1952

(b)On the request of an Inspector, Certifying Surgeon or medical practitioner authorised under section 10(2) of the Act shall examine any person produced before him and issue certificate regarding his age and fitness. No fee shall be charged for such examination or for the grant of certificate in pursuance thereof.
