Section 5(1) in The West Bengal Law Clerks Act, 1997
(1)The State Council may constitute one or more funds in the manner prescribed for the purposes of-(a)carrying out all or any of the functions of the State Council under sub-section (1) of section 4;(b)giving financial assistance to, or organise welfare schemes for, the indigent, disabled or other law clerks.
