Section 9(1) in The U.P. Essential Commodities (Display of Prices and Stocks and Control of Supply and Distribution) Order, 1977
(1)The State Government may by order regulate the distribution of a scheduled commodity by any manufacturer, producer or distributor in such supply area or areas and in such manner as may be specified.
