Section 16(1) in The Merchant Shipping (Crew Accommodation) Rules, 1960
(1)In every ship to which these rules apply, unless the circumstances are such that no members of the crew are required to sleep on board, sleeping rooms shall be provided for the crew in accordance with the following provisions of this rule.
