                                               O R D E R

This Court has heard learned counsel for the parties at length.

The petitioner’s grievance was that the impugned order quashed the proceedings initiated against the contesting Signature Not Verified Digitally signed by NEETA SAPRA Date: 2023.01.24 respondent Nos. 2 to 4.

17:05:52 IST

Reason:

The principal consideration that weighed with the High 1 SLP (Crl.) No. 2516/2019 Court in issuing the order that it did, was the pendency of civil proceedings initiated by both the parties against each other. Those civil proceedings pertain to the land which was also the subject matter of the criminal proceedings initiated.

This Court is of the opinion that it would be in the overall interests of justice that the impugned judgment is not interfered with. At the same time, the observations in the impugned judgment shall not be considered as conclusive and shall not preclude either party from urging such contentions as are permissible in law.

Having regard to the long pendecny of the civil proceedings bearing O.S. No. 1697 of 2011 filed by the petitioner is pending on the file of VIII Senior Civil Judge, Ranga Reddy District at L.B. Nagar and O.S. No. 864 of 2012 filed by respondent Nos. 2 to 4 pending on the file of VIII Senior Civil Judge, Ranga Reddy District at L.B. Nagar are hereby expedited; the Court seized of these two suits (which is said to have been clubbed together) shall endeavour to complete the proceedings as expeditiously as possible and render judgment in any case within six months.

The special leave petition is disposed of. All pending applications are disposed of.
