(2)It extends to the territories formerly comprising of Khandesh, Deccan and Southern Maratha Country and subsequently forming part of the districts of East Khandesh, West Khandesh, Ahmednagar, Nasik, Poona, Satara, Sholapur, Bijapur, Belguam, Kanara and Dharwar as they existed before the States' Merger (Governor's Provinces) Order, 1949.
