Section 61(g) in Life Insurance Corporation of India (Staff) Regulations, 1960
(g)An employee who remains absent after the end of his leave is entitled to no leave salary for the period of such absence and the period of overstayal will be treated as extraordinary leave unless otherwise directed by the competent authority. Willful absence from duty after the expiry of leave will be treated as a breach of these Regulations for the purpose of Regulation 39.
