10. Power to enter upon land for repairs and prevention of accidents.
- In case of any accident being apprehended or happening to an irrigation work, any Irrigation officer authorised in this behalf, and any person acting under his general or special order may, subject to the provisions contained in section 11, enter upon any land adjacent to the irrigation work and may acquire trees and other materials and execute all such works as may be necessary for the purpose of preventing such accident or compensating the damage done.
