Section 17 in The Special Rules for the Mulit-storeyed and Public Buildings, 1974
17.
The Commissioner shall cause periodical inspection of multi-storeyed buildings to ensure that the fire safety, detection and extinguishing systems are maintained properly and continue to be operative. It shall be the duty of the persons in charge of the building to provide adequate and reasonable facilities for inspection at any time on any day between sunrise and sunset.Appendix A(See rule 13)| SI.
