6. Reporting Officers.
(1)The Agricultural Officers shall be the reporting officers, in respect of the paddy land in the area under their jurisdiction and it shall be their responsibility to report to the Sub-Divisional Officer regarding any act in violation of the provisions of this Act. Such reporting shall be made within a period of a fortnight from the date he receives such information.(2)Any omission to make a report under sub-section (1) shall be deemed to be an offence punishable under section 18 of this Act.
