(2)Processes served on and notices given to such agent shall be as effectual for all purposes as if t: e same were served on or given to the landholder or the tenant, as the case may be, in person, and all the provisions of this Act relating to the service of process on, or the giving of notices to a party shall be applicable to the service of processes on or the giving of notices to such agent.
