Section 35(1) in Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Act, 1989
(1)On every service pipe laid after the date of coming into force of this chapter, the Board shall, and on every service pipe laid before such date the Board may, fit a stopcock enclosed in cover box or a pit of such size as may be reasonably necessary.
