226. Medical Officer to examine prisoners on extramural work.
(1)The Medical Officer in charge of a prison hospital shall inspect every prisoner detailed for extramural work before he leaves the prison in the morning and after his return thereto for the purpose of satisfying himself that he is physically fit for the work for which he has been selected and has not suffered therefrom.(2)It shall also be the duty of the Medical Officer to see that the requisite medicines are distributed in the morning to those prisoners in the out-going groups, who require them.
