Section 9(3) in Jammu and Kashmir Juvenile Justice Rules, 2007
(3)No surgical treatment shall be carried out on any juvenile without the previous consent of his parent or guardian (unless the parent or guardian as the case maybe, cannot be found and the condition of the juvenile is such that any delay shall, in the opinion of the medical officer, involve unnecessary suffering or injury to the health of the juvenile) or without obtaining a direction to this effect from the Board.
