Section 14 in The Punjab Animal Contagious Diseases Rules, 1953
14. Control on the Movement of Animals.
- The animal/animals so detained in the quarantine stations shall remain under the care of the owner or person incharge of the animal/animals who shall be responsible for their feeding and unkeep. He shall have to pay Re. 1 for vaccination, marking etc., and the amounts so recovered are creditable to head 'XXX - Veterinary - Other Receipts".
