Section 25(3) in Banaras Hindu University Act, 1915
(3)Each Department shall consist of the following members, namely:(i)Teachers of the Department;(ii)Persons conducting research in the Departments;(iii)Dean of the Faculty or Deans of the Faculties concerned;(iv)Honorary Professor, if any, attached to the Department;(v)Such other persons as may be members of the Department in accordance with the provisions of the Ordinances.
