In this revision petition, the defendants-petitioners have impugned an order dated 18th October, 2011 passed by the trial court whereby an application filed under Order 6 Rule 17 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking an amendment of the plaint, had been allowed.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that in the revision petition, two prayers have been made; firstly, impugning the order dated 18th October, 2011 whereby the amendment of the plaint had been allowed and, secondly, seeking a direction to the trial court to dispose of the application for interim injunction expeditiously which is pending for sufficiently long time.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners stated that so far as the first prayer regarding challenging the order dated 18th October, 2011 allowing the amendment of the plaint is concerned, he does not C.R. No.7261 of 2011 (O & M) ::2::

wish to press the same. Accordingly, the said prayer is dismissed as not pressed.

4. So far second prayer with regard to deciding the application for interim injunction at an early date is concerned, after hearing learned counsel for the petitioners, same stands disposed of by directing the trial court to decide the said application as early as possible in accordance with law.
