Section 12C(1) in The Daman (Abolition of Proprietorship of Villages) Regulation, 1962
(1)In all enquiries and proceedings under the Regulation, the Mamlatdar shall exercise the same powers as the Mamlatdar under the Goa, Daman and Diu Mamlatdar's Court Act, 1966 (hereinafter referred to as the "said Act") and shall, except as provided in sub-section (3) of section 7 and section 8-C, follow the provisions of the said Act.
