Subject to the general superintendence, direction and control of the Divisional Election Authority, the District Election Authority shall be responsible for the conduct, co-ordination and supervision of all works in connection with the conduct of elections, of the Members of the Managing Committee and President of Water Users' Association and Distributory Committee and the Chairperson and members of the Managing Committee of the Project Committee.
