Section 22 in GUJARAT CARRIAGE OF GOODS TAXATION ACT, 1962
22. Penalty for non-payment of tax :-
Any operator failing, without reasonable cause, to pay tax within time under the provisions of this Act shall be liable to pay in addition to the amount of the tax a sum not exceeding 25 per cent, thereof as penalty.
