736. Simple imprisonment convicts to keep the wards and yards clean.
- Convicts sentenced to simple imprisonment shall keep their wards and yards clean, provided they belong to a class, the members of which are accustomed to perform such duties in their own homes. They shall not however be compelled to perform any menial duties for others or to do any work of a degrading character.
