(1)The Superintendent shall establish liaison with the department of Technical Education, Directorate of Industries, Khadi and Village Industries Commission, Industrial Training Institute, Polytechnic and Vocational Training Institutions and similar other organisations to develop vocational training programmes and prison industries on a practical and pragmatic basis.(2)The Superintendent may arrange examination of the inmates from time to time in co-ordination with the department of technical education or other similar institutes in the State and on passing the examination, the inmates shall be awarded a certificate to that effect.
