- (i) These Regulations may be called The Company Regulations, 1956.(ii)They shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.(iii)The General Clauses Act, 1897 (X of 1897), applies to the interpretation of these regulations as it applies to the interpretation of a Central Act.
