Section 50(3) in The Monopolies And Restrictive Trade Practices Act, 1969
(3)[ If any person carries on any trade practice which is prohibited by this Act, he shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months, or with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees, or with both, and where the offence is a continuing one, with a further fine which may extend to five hundred rupees for every day, after the first, during which such contravention continues.] [Section 50 renumbered as sub-Section (1) thereof and sub-Sections (2) and (3) inserted by Act 30 of 1984, Section 42 (w.e.f. 1.8.1984).]
